Automating automation–how AI is redefining business operations at Comcast
As AI and reinforcement learning solutions continue to proliferate, businesses must be forced to reimagine how they operate. While this traditionally was left to lower-level redundant tasks, today’s advancements in AI have created a scenario where even tasks and complex operations that were once thought of as too unique to automate are being automated at an alarming rate. Moreover, self-learning reinforcement solutions are replacing the need to continually apply human intervention to deploy intelligence into operations. Ben Litvinas will discuss how Comcast has used AI to “Automate Automation” in a case study of direct marketing at Comcast. He will discuss how processes that used complex algorithms and models were once extremely manual, but have now become increasingly automated. He will also discuss by leveraging AI, Comcast is able to capitalize on technology to exponentially reduce the level of effort within direct marketing while achieving significantly greater results.
